Inside Anneliese‘s World

So who is Anneliese behind closed doors?

I’m a mom of six. And when I’m not in my studio recording or writing music, I’m fully in mom mode. Four of my kids are homeschooled, and since they’re still young, a lot of their learning comes from our everyday routines—but we still put in real work with reading, writing, and math for a few hours every single day, all year round.

My days usually start somewhere between 5:30 and 8:30 in the morning. I wake up, have my little “wake and bake,” and start getting my voice ready to record. Lately I’ve been even more excited to jump into music because of my upgraded studio—it just hits different.

While I’m recording, the house slowly starts waking up. By the time I’m wrapping up, the kids are getting up, and I’m right into making breakfast and starting the day with them.

The rest of the morning is focused on school. We spend a few solid hours working through lessons, making sure they’re learning and growing, even if it doesn’t always look like a traditional classroom.

After lunch, it’s grind time again—but in a different way. I shift into promoting and advertising my music, pushing it out to as many people as I can. Some days, if I’m really feeling it, I’ll jump back into recording. Other days, it’s cleaning, laundry, and keeping the house somewhat together… which, with a family of eight, feels almost impossible sometimes.

Most days you’ll find me cleaning with my music blasting, windows open, singing my heart out for anyone nearby to hear. The studio might be where I record, but the whole house feels like a stage.

Around 4 PM, my husband gets home from work. We usually take a “smoke break”—what we call our safety meeting—and just talk about our day. After that, we either cook dinner together, or I handle cleaning while he cooks.

Evenings are a mix of winding down and trying to regain control of the house. Once dinner’s done, we try to relax, but let’s be real—getting kids to actually go to bed is a whole mission on its own. Some nights we’re finishing up cleaning before we can even think about sitting down.

That’s our Monday through Friday.

We do squeeze in fun during the week sometimes—like playing video games together—but weekends are where we really reset. That’s our time as a family. We go camping, hiking, and just enjoy being outside together.

And if you can imagine going on a hike or camping trip with anywhere from four to six kids, ages ten down to three… yeah, it’s a whole adventure every single time.

It’s loud. It’s chaotic. It’s exhausting.

But it’s also full of love, music, growth, and memories I wouldn’t trade for anything.

This is the real life behind the music.
