Our Love Story
True Love
When I met my husband in our mid-20s, I was standing in the middle of one of the lowest points of my life. I was going through a divorce, trying to piece myself back together, and honestly just trying to make it through each day. I wasn’t looking for love, and I definitely wasn’t expecting it to come in so fast or feel so real. But then he showed up—and somehow, everything shifted.
He quickly became my escape, but more than that, he became my safe place. What started as something unexpected turned into something undeniable. We fell in love fast, the kind of fast people warn you about—but for us, it wasn’t reckless, it was real. It was two people finding comfort and strength in each other when life felt the most uncertain.
From the very beginning, he stood by my side through everything. And I mean everything. There were moments that felt impossible to get through—situations that tested us, stretched us, and could have easily broken us apart. But instead of walking away, we held on tighter. We chose each other over and over again, even when it wasn’t easy.
Seven years later, we’re still here. Still standing, still loving, still growing. Together, we’ve built a life that once felt out of reach. We have four children of our own and six altogether, a beautifully blended family that represents everything we’ve been through and everything we’ve created together.
It hasn’t been perfect, but it’s been real. It’s been messy, emotional, challenging—and also full of love, laughter, and moments that remind me exactly why we fought so hard to get here. He didn’t just walk into my life during a storm—he helped me rebuild after it.
And every time I look at this life we’ve built, I’m reminded that sometimes, the most unexpected beginnings turn into the most meaningful forever.
